La nostra storia

Born from
Passion &
Brotherhood

Where cooking becomes
a way of life

De Rada was born from the passion and vision of three brothers with long experience in the hospitality industry. Located on a quiet street in the heart of Ealing Broadway, we are your top choice for lunch or dinner — whether indoors or on the terrace, with friends or family.

We bring together cooking, service, tradition, and hospitality, turning them into a true symphony. Every detail reflects a deep respect for Italy's rich culinary heritage.

"Food is not just nourishment — it is memory, it is love, it is Italy itself at your table."

— De Rada

3
Brothers, One Vision
Three siblings united by a love of Italian cuisine, turning a shared dream into one of Ealing's most beloved restaurants.
The restaurant de Rada was named in honor of the writer, poet, and teacher Girolamo de Rada, born in southern Italy in 1814, who greatly contributed to preserving the traditions of his people, the produce of the land, and authentic foods. Beyond that, he also played an important role in promoting education and the emancipation of society as a whole
100%
Italian Soul
Every ingredient, every recipe, every gesture of hospitality traces back to the traditions of our homeland.

The four pillars of De Rada

Our philosophy is simple — honour tradition, pursue quality, welcome everyone, and never forget that great food is made with love.

01
Cooking
Every dish is crafted with the precision of experience and the warmth of tradition. Our kitchen is our stage.
02
Service
We believe service is an art form. Attentive, gracious, never intrusive — just the way Italians do it.
03
Tradition
Recipes passed down through generations, elevated with thoughtful creativity — never at the expense of authenticity.
04
Hospitality
Every guest is family. From the moment you enter to the last espresso, you are in our home.
